State convention is the highlight of the year for many FFA members. It is their chance to put their skills to the test! They can attend workshops and tours, interact with each other and have a fantastic time!

District Leadership Events

Set in the spring and fall every year, these events are there to help members develop leadership skills by attending workshops and to compete in state-qualifying events.

Chapter Visits

Throughout the year, teachers request state officers to visit their school to present workshops! These workshops are for any student and cover a variety of topics, which you can see below.

Teachers will receive emails from the officers visiting their district after the start of the schoolyear with information on how to sign up for chapter visits. For schools without chapters, reach out to taylor.nelson@alaska.gov to schedule a school visit.
